Doggie Basics Class Descriptions
Adult and Puppy classes are taught by Arial Harper

Puppies- 8 week course, Wednesday evenings, 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm, $90.00, Puppies 8 weeks to 8 months old. Course covers how to teach your puppy basic manners: walking on a loose leash (No Pulling), sit, lay-down, stay, wait at doors, coming when called, food bowl manners and more. This class provides your puppy with an excellent opportunity to socialize with other puppies and people in a structured setting. The course is taught strictly with positive reinforcement methods and helps to encourage a strong bond between you and your pet. This class also follows the guidelines to the American Kennel Club’s S.T.A.R. Puppy Program.

Adults- 8 week course, Wednesday evenings, 7:45 to 8:45 pm, $90.00, Young Adults (8+ months) to Adult. Course covers how to teach your dog basic manners: walking on a loose leash (No pulling), sit, lay-down, stay, wait at doors, coming when called, food bowl manners and more. The course is taught strictly with positive reinforcement methods and helps to encourage a strong bond between you and your pet. This course also covers the exercises for the American Kennel Club’s Canine Good Citizen Test.

Doggie Basics 2 – For Puppies and Adults that have completed Doggie Basics (or approved equivalent course), 8 week course, $90.00,Tuesday evenings, 7 pm to 8 pm. Course covers advanced exercises.

**All dogs must be current on their DHPPV, Rabies & Bordetella to attend class. Puppies need to be vaccinated to what is appropriate for their age.
